Overview

We’re looking for a Data (BI/DWH) Developer to join one of our Data Warehouse & BI teams. You’ll design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting data structures that enable trusted, scalable, and high-performing analytics. You’ll work closely with Technical Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Modellers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to transform business requirements into reliable data solutions.

Requirements

Data warehouse & solution development

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Data Warehouse solutions and analytical data marts.
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from multiple source systems.
  • Develop scalable and reusable data integration solutions following established development standards.
  • Translate technical specifications and source-to-target mappings into robust implementations.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Data Analysts to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Data integration & ETL/ELT

  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for loading, transforming, and validating enterprise data.
  • Implement business transformation logic based on approved functional and technical specifications.
  • Integrate structured and semi-structured data from various enterprise systems.
  • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and completeness throughout integration processes.
  • Support incremental loading strategies and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting data integration workflows.

Database development & optimization

  • Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and database objects supporting enterprise reporting.>
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning and efficient data processing techniques.
  • Implement indexing and partitioning strategies where appropriate.
  • Analyze execution plans and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
  • Ensure database developments comply with security and development standards.
  • Support database maintenance and continuous optimization initiatives.

Data quality & validation

  • Implement data validation rules and reconciliation processes.
  • Perform source-to-target data validation and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support automated data quality checks and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with business users and QA teams to validate implemented solutions.
  • Investigate production issues related to data quality or transformations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data quality standards and development practices.

Testing, deployment & support

  • Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing activities.
  • Support deployment of new releases across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Investigate defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and operations teams during project delivery.
  • Maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide production support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired profile

Must-have

  • University degree in Computer Science, Economic Informatics, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, Business Intelligence, or Data Development.
  • Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of relational databases.
    Experience developing ETL/ELT processes using enterprise integration tools or SQL-based frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas.
  • Experience with source-to-target mappings and data transformation logic.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, SSIS, Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, Talend, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms.
  • Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience in Banking, Retail, Insurance, or Telco industries.
  • Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or Informatica certifications.
