Overview

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to join one of our Software Engineering teams. You’ll design, build, and maintain modern, responsive web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. You’ll work closely with UX/UI Designers, Backend Developers, Product Owners, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to transform business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and high-performing web solutions.

Requirements

Frontend development & user experience

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using contemporary frontend technologies.
  • Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI Designers to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
  • Implement responsive layouts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for frontend components and solutions.

Application architecture & integration

  • Develop applications using modern frontend architecture patterns and best practices.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
  • Collaborate with Backend Developers to define efficient API contracts.
  • Implement state management and client-side data handling.
  • Optimize application architecture for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Ensure compatibility across modern browsers and platforms.

Performance, accessibility & quality

  • Optimize application performance, rendering, and loading times.
  • Implement accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent user experience.
  • Develop reusable UI components following design system guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and UI defects.
  • Contribute to frontend coding standards and quality improvements.

Testing, deployment & DevOps

  • Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers during testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.

Collaboration & continuous improvement

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to frontend engineering best practices.
  • Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and frameworks.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve applications, performance, and development standards.
  • Support junior developers through collaboration and mentoring.

Desired profile

Must-have

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Experience with one or more modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI development.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, NgRx, Pinia, Zustand, or similar).
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Next.js, Nuxt.js, or server-side rendering frameworks.
  • Familiarity with component libraries such as Material UI, Angular Material, Ant Design, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and frontend performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Experience working with Design Systems and Figma.
  • Experience in Banking, Retail, Insurance, or Telco industries.
